Hi all just a quick question, I have read on here before and for the life of me cant find it, how do you change the battery for the digital readout in the 40L anniversary model. I know it was easy but dont want to touch it till I get the correct procedure. Thankyou Regards Steve M

Steve,

If you lift the lid on the fridge you may find the instructions there. I know its there on mine.

i guy I work with only asked me the same question 10 mins before I read your post. As he does not have access to the net i read your post and gave them a call. I'm sure he said the instructions were under the lid.

Hi Stephen,
You only have to remove 6 screws, the 4 that hold the lid hinge, and the 2 top on the back of the fridge. There is no need to remove all the other screws that hold the back cover in place.

Hi, Stephen .................
as the others have said AND you can buy a pack of four LR44's in Woolies for only a few dollars .......... and then you tape a spare or two inside the housing for next time !! You should get a couple of years out of a set , depending on variables ???
Regards ........ Pedro
