Hi
Just letting everyone who comes and camps at the campground on noosa northshore that the campground is still open. If you ring the old number the guy who had the lease for 20 years says that it is closed on the recorded message. It has changed it's name to Beachfront caravan
park. Their new number is 54 498 811. I think they are booked out one week of the holidays and the other is filling fast. Ferry is $5 oneway for standard vechicle and $5 for trailer up to 5M.

The previous guy was a A@#hole. Absolute hitler. That just proves he was a prick good riddens to him. may the new people be more focused on service and not just a grab for money . Great spot

Just a side issue, how come on this
forum you can call some one a prick but you can't call them an @rs#hole?

Thanks for the post
Lorne - we have stayed there and thought it was closed permanently.
We have printed your post for the file, and will probably go back there.
With the National parks reducing beach
camping, that little
park could become very popular...................regards...................Keith

I stayed there @ Christmas and it was great but they were stopping dog's from January. Do you know if this is still the case?
I would love to go back there but without taking the dog it is not an option. I was surprised when I was there that you hardly saw or heard the dogs. Everyone cleaned up after them as
well so there was none of the obvious signs.

Hi
Still no dogs allowed as it is owned by the council. My family are running it at the moment until the end of september then not sure if what is happening then. The council have no plans of closing it in the near future. There are big plans for it but it should stay pretty much the same as it has been. The
park is going through a facelift as nothing has been done to it in 20 years. Also no powered sites at the moment as the last owner decided to pull them all out and desroy a few other things. Yes he was a real BLEEP to most people. Give the
park a call if you are thinking of heading up that way. They sell bait there now to if you run out.
