Those prices won't go far here ! Although I have to admit I was blown away with the price of a ham burger at one roadhouse in WA. $20 !! Its amazing the differences in access to prices vary.
The last trailer I looked at s/h for $450 had a rusted floor.

Why ?
No side zipper ??
Funnel and bit of pvc hose would do the trick....

There is always the bucket on a string. Just pull it up then lower it down.

Still a lot of money for a tent.
Its one of those things that would be handy sometimes and a pain in the a*se on others. Good for overnighters and stop offs if travelling through or if you don`t plan on driving away from the
campsite, but not much good for a base
camp if you want to leave for day drives.
Still wouldn`t mind one though, just can`t justify the expense.

We've got a home made one, and I'm pretty happy with it, although I don't know how it would go in the rain, OK while its up, but folding wet canvas etc onto the mattress etc may be a pain.
Mine takes about 2 min to set up and pack up for trips during the day from
camp, so I don't find it an issue. I love the outdoors, but like being off the ground away from critters (especially ones with big teeth!)
*a quick side note on this, aparently a few work collegues were
camping at an isolated beach up here last week. The
camp was woken by a grown man screaming like a girl - a
turtle got a bit tangled in his tent (not badly, just enough to wake him and impersonate a salty!......I like being off the ground.
Cheers Andrew
