Froggy,
Sounds like you had a great trip. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. We were on the Skull Springs Road just a few days before you...and Carrawine Gorge. The
Pilbara is a magnificent place that's for sure.
Thanks for your report
Viv

Thanks Vivian, really appreciate the kind words. It certainly makes writing trips report that much more rewarding with such feedback.
Off to Mongolia and Kazakhstan at the end of next week… I was in Mongolia earlier in the year and what an eye opener that was.

I’m looking forward to seeing Kazakhstan up close and personal - off the beaten track.
Love your motto too… meeting people half way, great stuff.

Viv,
Just hope I get back in one peice to do a write up.
Yeah and I should do one, people/readers might be interested in how those folks do things over there in terms of 4wd.
For staters its all Left Hand Drive - not too bad getting use to it when over there, its coming home and thinking you can just jump straight in there behind the wheel - weird thing is... after driving LHD for even just a couple of weeks every day, its harder to get back into the swing of it on a RHD vehicle.
I was warned about this by a truck driver that had done many miles/km in the States, at the time I thought he was pulling my chain... not anymore.
I’ll be more aware of that on my return this time – for sure.
Froggy.
