I agree, my 2003 3.0 lt TD Navara was on the bump stops last year when I went across the Simpson, with 650 kg's loaded.
This year I fitted Poly Air Bags, and went to Innaminka
Birdsville,
Boulia and across the plenty to The East McDonald Ranges, Then back down the old Ghan Herritage Trail, to The Flinders rangers and
home to Sth Gippsland.
Now that equates to 6500 kms, of some of the worst roads about, and my Airbags held firm, 15 - 18 psi in them, and they only cost $320, as I fitted them myself.
Well worth it, and believe it or not, they actually soften the ride a little, when empty.
I will use them on my next vehicle too
