Located on the Murray, just out of Mulwala, NSW.

Anyone been there? We're looking to spend a week there from this Saturday. Originally we were going to go to Sheepyard Flat, but 'er in doors is getting over bronchitis and we're thinking of somewhere a little warmer.

Does it get very cold at this time of year overnight at Booma? It was a total fire ban day there today due to the unusually warm weather and high winds. But that can change in a short time.

Feedback of any kind will be well appreciated.

ATB,

Jim.

Not actually camped there Jimbo, but have on other side of river near ham track and have driven most of tracks in area.

Bit flat and buggy for me , and could do much in river as flowing wide and fast ,but generally a pleasant area with nearby tourist related stuff.

Is cold ,but no more than sheepyard.

I'd go to Sheepyard , plug a couple of infared red globes into your $98 gennie to keep'em warm until you get the campfire roaring. Take them for a walk thru the tunnel, and they will be so cold that they won't complain about the campsite.

P.S. Crazy dogs useful post today 37858 allows you to see map of area.
