correction, emailed on two, but spoken to another who says he is going with passengers too. That means a few. Nick would like to have gone too, but it is his weekend on. He would only get jealous of the lift under your car Moggs.

hey Moggs,
motivated I am, financial i'm not.....

Crazie and I have planned the lift and I want to fit it in before the end of the year.

We have to work this weekend but we are thinking about the pyrenees next weekend. Maybe we'll see it this Ironman winch does the job.....
It fits in like a glove, just needed longer bolts.

Moggs,
it is the 9500 lb winch with the cordless remote and I fitted it to the winch bar Nissan fits to patrols the age ours is, similar to what you saw on JohnRs rig but a little less truckish. Like his also i put in a battery isolator incase the urban myth about winches is true.

Interesting thing about the winch is that the specs for the 9500 are almost the same as the 12000, the only differences being the cable thickness of 5/16 instead of 3/8 and the drum size is 1/2 a millimetre different so it begs the question, does the capacity increase with a thicker cable or plasma rope?

Hey truckster, yep - left the computer on yesterday - didn't get home from work until 3.00am and responded then - waited for your reply but none was forthcoming ;-)

I'm not getting the Beaudesert system now - will get ATOC to do their power upgrade on it soon - includes reworking the turbo, exhaust and tweaking a few other bits and pieces.

Sorry you can't make it on the weekend - can't even do a day trip on either the Sat or Sun??

they way I look at it is, get the zaust like other companies will do (and they will charge u extra) and fit myself saving coin.

Look at Diesel tek in lilydale also for the power up .. talk with Andy ;)
did ya see the dyno charts in the other thread?
I've decided if Im going to work the turbo, Im going ballbearing instead with several stories of problems with modded standard snails..

already got plans now for weekend fitting up bits and bleep to the truck... :(

'Still to fit dual batteries for fridge, rear storage'

you forgot to mention

the endless air, and the winch, and the reversing camera, and the ironman suspension, and the water tank, and the HF, and the UHF, and the EGT, and the lockers, and the compressor

Don't think we will be seeing you for some time at this rate.

Truckster, nah, the exhaust will be cheaper through Aaron than the $975 delivered from beaudesert. The power upgrade is $1,400, or a couple of hundred more if I want a digital EGT hauge put in. Happy with that price, and saw oneof the 3 inch exhausts at his workshop the other day - looked very well made.

BTW, why are you going such a large offset on the rims? You fitting wider rubber?

Santa paid less than that by quite a bit for JohnRs 3 inch, actually $200 or more less
May depend on the vehicle
