The rattle coming from the rear doors in my 70 series shorty (same as troopy) is driving me mad.
Anyone had a go at fixing it?
The hinges don't seem to have any play in them at all. I suspect it's coming from the catch on the right side (bigger) door. It's hard to tell if the rubber guide on the lower door cut-out is worn.
Anyone replaced any of these components with any success.
Don't want to just replace parts at random as I'd imagine genuine Toyota parts will be my only option $$$.

Hi adjust the top latch as far forward as it will go. That should get rid of most of it unless it is already adjusted. Remove the spare from the door and fit a wheel carrier to remove the weight from the door.
Good luck
