Hi All,
Having just seen poor old Fooloose (Jim) get hacked into on a previous post, I just want to salute the tireless, knowledgeable, experienced contributors to this
forum. Take strength, brethren!! I gain so much from this
forum and sometimes you give a little. Some folks must have stressful real lives to belt this
forum the way they do - sometimes. I like my Mt Dare real life, soon to be
Kangaroo Island (Dec/JAN 2007) but back next
Easter.
Continue to prosper in the richnes of this
forum.
You biggotted old bleep
Cheers

Keeps us old buggers amused....LOL
TV's boring, missus is snoring, dog is farting and so the best place to be is the study where my kingdom lies in electronic gadgetry.
Sometimes we hack, sometimes we placate, sometimes we are rude, and sometime we give advice. Sometimes we even attempt humour!!
Some people think its funny, some people think you're a smart arse. Some people are wise and some people are otherwise.
It takes all types of minds to make this OPEN
FORUM complete.
When I was a
young bloke I would never have dreamed that I would be typing away at a keyboard in my older age, keeping myself amused.
Cheers

Geez Willem ...seems you like the same stuff as me . always looking for something new, but ya see i have an advantage over you If i want it i go get it, don't have to ask a woman if I can ,she's on the other side of the country, Hey I got the Engine saver in the post today, will fit it over the next weekend , also will have to fix an oil seal leak on the rear left hub, last time I had it apart I buggered a thread for an axle stud so I might go to the wreckers and get another hub/disc rotor and while it's apart will put new bearings and axle seal.

Doug
I can relate to the buggered thread bit....lol
The fuel
tank guard broke off after billions of corruations on our last trip. It finished the trip on the roof rack.I had a mate with good weldong skills re-weld it. Yesterday I fitted it again. A 10 minute job took 1.5 hours because there is a Hayman Reece towbar in the way and the bolts can only be installed by using fingers 2 and 3. Then a multi-swivel drive was used to tighten them......very slowly....LOL
Cheers

It is a great
forum and I enjoy reading it before the start of the working day. I have garnered much good advice and have been pointed to a few great trips.

Don't have much to say on this
Forum but visit it every day if i have CDMA coverage as my only access is through a MiniMax. It is a great source of humour and serious info and if one needs to keep abreast of whats happening in the world its an exellent site to visit. We are on the last few weeks of a 6Mth. trip, (
Lawn Hill, Bourketown,
Normanton,
Cooktown and down the East coast to Tassie in 3Wks. What a great country we live in!.Going home to put tennants in the house and hit the road again till we get sick of it, but that may take a while.
