Just wondering - probably missed something - but do have to work sometimes - where is the "where is this place" competition - really wanted to know where the last one was especially -

That's right.....someone keeps guessing them :-) They should have something up again shortly.....though David (EO) is always wanting more locations/images submitted (hint, hint).

And it is a pretty spot. We had driven past a few times and saw the sign. We decided to drop in last time we were there to pick up a geocache and were impressed. My kids thought it was something right out of Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings.

You also got the one I submitted of the Yarra Diversion Tunnel, I thought that would last for ages.

We must have just missed you. We were there on the 27th. So if you were there geocaching that would make you Map Monkey?? We are Fatnav.

Yep...

I spent a while getting the diversion tunnel due to the fact that its commonally referred to as "little peninsula tunnel", even by Parks Vic etc. It seems that there is only one site that uses the alternate name. I just wonder which one is correct ;-)

We got the name off the map we were using then went to some government web site that lists all the tunnels to check. We submittted it back in May sometime, so I am not sure what that web site was. It is also known as the "G31 - Diversion Tunnel" on the Vic water site.
