G'day all,
I have a IFS hilux and am looking at getting a FJ40 to throw around (it's starting to get a hard to justify throwing a $30G 4WD around).
Does anyone know much about them??? What parts go with it??, I've heard 60 series parts bolt straight in???
What I'd like to do is set it up for some hard core stuff.
- Sprung over suspension (I'd like to make it buggy leaf)
- 35" muddies
- 308
Has anyone built anything like this? If so how did u go about it?
Cheers and thanks for the info.

You are better off to get a early model GQ SWB, do a body lift, OME coils and shocks, V8, and if you a game cut down to a ute,

The GQ is stronger all round than the FJ comes with a 5 speed, and not as much rust.
