Well Mr and Mrs Uncle have been saving the hard earned pennies, and looks like the Pajero will hopefully go to a new home later as we have always dreamnt about a diesel 4wd wagon. All going
well should pick her up next week.

Hi Uncle
Congratulations
Err - first which diesel patrol did you dream of ?
Ones quite stressed and the others a little slow.
I guess its to late to consider a 4800 ?
all the best

You really love that 4.8 don't you Robin. I wouldn't change it for my 4.2 though. Each to their own.
Just hope for uncle's sake he's not talking about a four pot screamer.
Good luck anyway uncle.
Trevor.

Robin! A
well tuned 4.2tdi. will keep up with a 4800 no problems and uses half the fuel. Thats the bad news for 4800 owners. The good news is I dont own a 4800 :) Michael

Well Guys , I reckon there all good cars and each has its place in the scheme of things.
But Micheal when I find a 4.2 or a 3lt that can keep up with my 4800 and use half the fuel , then I'll buy it , cause like Uncle , that's just what I'm dreaming off.

Hey Roachie, how's it goin,? Thanks mate, we intend to travel through SA on our way to WA when we sell up our business hopefully before next winter. That should give us a good six to 9 mths on the road, and will be trying to eyeball as many EO members as possible on the way so as to put faces to names. Will definitely try to catch up.Cheers.
