You could guess they are saying yes he is injured but it is too early to tell the amount of trauma he has gone through. Absolutely love the show, the presenters and the format. Something the car gurus here in OZ could take notice of. Absolutley cracked me up watching them with the buggies and quads last week.

I wish him well

cheers

I know this is slightly off topic for this thread but top gear is the best car show I have seen (of the many many which are on air!!) and the australian "The Car Show" on nine is the worst car show or any show ever. I sometimes just turn it off because the presenters are such idiots. Glen ridge once made one of my favorite cars, the M5, into the most boring experiance I almost went to sleep.

Like to have seen better of the situation Mike. Sad to hear it had happened when I did yesterday, realising that it can happen at speeds one tenth the speed he was doing at the time. Hope Richard has a speedy recovery as I love his humour as I do the interaction right through the program.

Really sad to read about it. As others have said the show is great.
I am not a Ford or Falcon fan but it was interesting a couple of weeks ago when they stated the "vauxhall something" (alias Monaro) had far better performance and was much better value than whatever it was they were testing. They also mentioned it was not a good tight car though - Why oh why can't we get our local cars as good as other countries.

Anyway I hope he recovers

The Drs are talking about a good recovery as opposed to a full recovery. There is significance in this use of words. So probably good given the injuries he has.

I wish it had never happened, great presenter on a great show.
