Hi All,
I have a GME TX3400 UHF /Scanner , does any one know of the software that is required to re-program the 10 scanable channels?
Any help would be great
Stephen

Hi Steve, Log onto the GME website, they will tell you all you need to know, you can even print a whole instruction book if you want. I have a 3400 as
well and just read the manual on the screen.

Thanks for that , but does it allow you to actually re-program the extra 10 scanable channels?
As i had Police , Fire and rescue but now police has gone to Digital i want to re-program those channels to the Rural Fire Service on PMR

do some searching of this site....it has been discussed recently. BTW you would need the lead (not a simple thing for most people to make, not cheap either) to patch from your serial port to the remote head if you don't already have it.
It is much easier (and cheaper) to just go down to the nearest GME dealer and get them to do it (a slab is common currency ;-))

Hi Andrew,
I work at Nixon Communications so pop in and
well do it for you for nothing (not next week though as I will be
camping). Thats if you don't already have it done that is.
Regards
David
