hi all
we have two quad bikes and I have been looking for a way to have my cake and eat it too by towing a camper or caravan plus both bikes (by tow ball not 5th wheel) with us on holiday have now found this toy hauler caravan by north star from freedom off road which is ideal but would like to know if there are any others available I have spent hours looking on the net but cant find any others.
cheers

claymac,
Camel campertrailers sell a "3 bike"camper trailer, which is essentially a 3 bike trailer with a raised height adjustable platform for a camper trailer tent above the bikes.
Remove the bikes and wind down the tent pack to the trailer base and erect as per usual.
I have also seen this idea by another manufacturer, but cant remember who.
Will it take 2 quads? Dunno.

I have no association or interests in camel, I do however think they make a good product in for their price range, but I cant stand the south african guy who sells them. Personalities aside I still think they're worth a look, even thought I bought a rival firms camper.
Hope this helps
Pete

Thanks very much for your reply this info is great although I was leaning towards a caravan with all the creature comforts this has given me an idea of applying this to the 8x5 trailer I have already set up with tracks across the top.Yes food for thought, a caravan toy hauler would be nice but I guess this option seems to be the most sensible one.
cheers

Hi again is there anyone out there that has seen any other caravan toy hauler other than the one at this address www.freedomoffroad.com.au/toy_hauler.php
this toy hauler seems ok but the price that I was given was just under $40000 and I am not sure if this is a reasonable price so I am trying to find something to compare it to or if any one has any info or thoughts on it and or northstar I would love to hear from you. Thanks
