Mate, I keep going round in circles when I try to contact you 'at home'.
We saw the last eclipse from E. side of L.Everard. Will be much wiser next time.

What was wrong with L.Everand? I just did a quick search and found some great pics...... although I am still glad I was where I was (
Cameron Corner) because of the sunset.......
I lived in
Cairns for 4 years working at AJ Hackett bungy. I will certainly be finding the best place to view the eclipse in 2012. Although I really don't think It will be in
Cairns though. Maybe in Chiligoe or somewhere like that.

Peter, the site was brilliant, [i woz stupid] spent far too much time peering into a view finder, instead of just sucking it all in through the senses. A
young (to me) German couple filmed it in both still and video. They drove a clapped out old Pajero, but I'd guess their photographic gear was worth about the same as my (then) near new Rodeo.
Next time, it's all preset. If the camera scores a hit, great! All else will be in the
grey stuff - along with the eggtimers.
Ext., this probably shouldn't be on this site, but I really couldn't gain access to your email. Thanks for taking the time.
And as for YOU Dusty.
Well, I'm just amazed. You kept him quiet for a day or 3, then he roars back on line & tells me it's passed me bloody bed time! And I thought I knew dogs!
Well, stuff you, I choose to speak with your servant: oh, and you're dismissed.
. Doug, you've been absent for a wee time. Got that temp. alarm installed? I still enjoy inertia. (Even 'tho we're geographically 2 hrs ahead of WA, I'm probably a decade 'n a bit behind those who care. Maybe something to do with ever-decreasing circles). be gentle, JH.
