hi there all ..
well the weekends getting closer.(not quik enough).just wondering .if you can buy bash plates.for GQ.and undergbox plates as im now missing
mine ..thanks to ...sus mechanic.......if not anyone know of somewere .that knows what there doing to fabricate..some for me ...dont care about ..flashy lookin alloy plate ..want it for protection.........................cheers.Darren

Should be able to find some at the wreckers?
I have removed my bash plate so as to prevent the buildup of grass and other foliage in the chassis and next to exhaust pipe.
Once you have lifted the truck the chances of bashing the gearbox is remote unless you are going to do rock crawling.

Yep I did the same but for another reason, to let more air flow around the G/Box and keep it just a little bit cooler, plus the weight of the thing too,I carry enough weight as it is, Easier to check gear box oils and add if need be,I like you are a dune driver , not a rock crawler, done enough crawlin when i was married .
