Two old geesers had to come to the aid of a
young pup this evening when he got his GU bogged to the diff housing. Actually the two old guys were passengers but had to give instructions on winch use. The powerful Ironman pulled through of course and they were on their way again. The Cowleys
Creek forest was a test though for the
young blood
The experience of Willem and of course JohnR got it all worked out and many stories later after a few beers, and some cognac the boghole got far deeper.....

I think I am in good company there, information has come to the fore that some lifted vehicles with 36's have come to grief there in the cowleys bush also, indeed some spots we sailed through have had these vehicles stuck.
Now we have something very local to test the mettle of the city folk who visit periodically. Yes, the winch did
well although the fairlead needs a little love.

Good to see you are being trained by THE hillbilly Nissan driving
forum guru's in the art of Nissan Driver 'bullchit & excuse making'
All I can say is I am more determined than ever to get one of those Ironman 'doovies' that saved your butts, than ever now.
ROFLMAO - have a few more white lightnings.
Better still, fill that thing you call a 4WD up with it and you won't need Ironman to help you.
PS
Gramps, they are still popping their heads up mate.

Learned on tractors Ms Lucy, articulated loaders too. Plenty of practice on Hiluxes, Rodeos, Suzukis, 60 Series and 80 Series, Range Rover before bogging the Great GU. Don't think Nick got to the Wit Lit or the cognac in this case.
You will find the Ironman will do it, but you may need to get the 12,000 pound one like I have for your bulging mass..... Now Moses is lighter he doesn't need such a big one though.
Heads and shoulders up Gramps

That other old geeser didn't waste any time in getting down there yesterday if you had time to go out and get bogged as
well.
Did the troll really get bogged or was it just a puddle and the diff housing fell off as I didn't think enough rain had fallen anywhere in Aust to great a bog situation unless it came from the radiator of course.
Cya soon

the old lc60 isn't as capable without the mongrels on, I took em off as a reverse psychology on mother nature, she sees road tyres, ahhh i'll sed em some rain, that'll teach them. I never bogged the old girl with mongrel tyres, no, not once.
