Good evening all... Have a mate who had his first ever ride on a bike (CT 200) at the weekend. He wants to continue to develope his skills but is too short to ride mine. Would any of you fine folk have an old ag bike floating around or know someone who has...??? Condition is irrelevant (as long as it runs ok) as it wont be registered and he only wants to spend a few hundred $$ until he's sure it's what he wants to do...

My apologies for not putting this in the trader section, just not sure how many of you would check the motorcycle section...

Bruce
as we saw last night cowleys bush (where the young pup got bogged) also. I have a mate who can ride from princetown to lavers hill (1/2 hour by road) on trails through the bush.

he could grab an old ct110 postie bike for a few hundred, throw on some cheng shin cheepie knobbies and have a ball learning. they are auto, and with a low seat and step through he cant go wrong, cant stall it etc.

And if he can kill one i'll buy him a beer or 2.

they used to be a dime a dozen... now they're trendy and expensive... he wants clutch and gears anyway...

know what you mean about killing them, mate had a ct90 at his sandblasting workshop, grab the compressor, blow the dust off it and ride... never changed oil, filter or anything else... just kept tipping fuel in it and thrashing it.
