So I don't have to unplug the tongue & ball on my towbar every time
the camper-trailer or boat is unhitched, is there a optional securing
bolt which can be fitted with a padlock or locking device?
thanks
Brian

If I understand what you are after, it is a hitch pin lock. You can buy one from the
shop on this site.
Click on
shop above, then type hitch pin lock in the search panel and you will have it

Damn that was quick !.
Thanks, that's exactly what I'm looking for.
Can you tell me how the locking device grabs
onto the end of the bolt?. The supplied fitting
has a hole drilled near the end for the circlip.
cheers

Hi T,
I have one of these Talon brand and the matching Coupling lock as
well. You can get them keyed alike.
It is excellent quality and not cheap.

Hi Steve - those look better than the existing coupling anti-theft locks on my two trailers, so I will follow that up.
cheers

Hi T,
The other thing I like about the coupling lock is that you can lock it with the trailer on or off. Great when you leave your boat trailer at the ramp all day.
Steve
PS I also noticed they have specials on at the moment.
