I have just gone through the a mamoth effort to replace the idler pulley on the Air/Con drive on the Mav 4.2 Oiler
I got a price from "Genuine Part" and woke up an hour later after telling me the pulley is $320.00 complete or I can buy the bearing only for $34.50.
I ended up getting one of the shelf (same part identical) pulley & bearing complete at a bearing
shop for a more breathable price of $22.80 - Ol` Mate says he sells heaps of 'em (wonder why).
Now this is the grooved pulley type not the roller type - thought I would clarify that.
The adustable shaft broke (too much kellogs) when fitting - so I had to go "Genuine Part" here and had to pay $77.95 for shaft & nut as bolt shops don't sell them and was told it would hve to be specially made - they know how to get ya.
A note for anyone doing this repair:
The "Geniune" shaft is shorter than original (oops Mr Ford)
The nut will not fit back into the pulley without some machining of the retainer bush
Here I had to counter-
bore the retainer bush to allow
the nut to fit inside.
10mm counter-
bore of the retainer bush is enough to allow
the nut to nip up on the pulley bearing.
Started Monday - Finished Friday (an hour ago)
All back together now and no screeeeching!! and running much quieter

Yeah I bought a pulley through a friend who got it from an airconditioning mob for $31.00 including freight. The pulley had seized on the shaft but I managed to remove the shaft and fitted it all back together again. My truck is a 94 model Datto. Didn't know there was an issue with the shaft.
