I have purchased an Asus Mypal A636N PDA, and I can't get it past the 'align screen' phase.
I have chased the cross over the screen a hundred times, and I am getting very frustrated.
Does anyone have any clues what to do.
I have sent a query to Asus technical enquiries, but haven't had a response yet.
Geoff.

When aligning the two most common mistakes are sliding the stylus a little while holding it on the alignment cross, or tapping on the cross. Press the stylus directly on the cross and hold it steady until the aligning cross moves.
Good luck.

teabags,
You are are genious.
That was the answer, but in the Asus instructions it certainly doesn't say what you said.
Thanks for saving my sanity. What a
forum.

Happy to be able to help.
ASUS products are amongst the best there are but like all computer equipment manufacturers their manuals leave a lot to be desired.
Every manual I have read is either written for a simpleton with huge slabs of information missing ore are written for experts working on their 4th Phd.
The company that gets it right will make a fortune.

Dealt with Asus for years and they are only just learning some of the tricks of English marketing and customer relations. They have been forced to become more consumer orientated and need to get their act together to suit. My O2 XDA Mini has been the best PDA I have owned, waiting for something better.

Hi,... just wanted to mention to I own an ASUS A636, and it's brilliant. I run co-pilot, AND OziExplorer,... I am sure you will enjoy it for years to come.
