Hi All. Just had the 4by serviced. Was told the Air filter element was pretty clogged.
Done about 1000k's on dusty dirt roads (tracks). Thinking of getting a snorker
fitted. Have a Rodeo 3tdi. Live in
Perth. Anyone recomend somewhere to get one
fitted. cheers Brian

Depending where you live in
Perth, my recommendation would be to go to Opposite Lock in Balcatta. Talk to Russell Cullen. He is a very clued up guy and there isnt much he doesnt know about the 4x4 industry.
NB// I do not have a vested interest in Opposite Lock. I have used them over the years and find their service to be better than others I have used in the past

Thanks for that. Live south of the river but will go and see them, not far up the freeway.

Brian,
I would recommend Opposite Lock also (no vested interest either). I had one fitted to my 2.8. I had
mine fitted at the midland store (may be too far for you), however I did a ring around of the big three (ARB, OL, TJM) and OL was better by about $100. I had the safari fitted.
Good luck

On a slightly different topic, two friends of ours who are twin brothers went shopping for sway bar quick disconnects. One went to ARB in Osborne
Park and was told that he had never heard of them and that he must be mistaken. The other brother went to TJM, also in Osborne
Park and was asked if it was for a caravan !!!! Now you know why I go to Opposite Lock. At least Russel owns a 4x4 and knows more about the business than I will ever know . And I reiterate that I do not have a vested interest in that Company what so ever. I go there because they know what they are talking about.

i fitted a snorkal to our jack more for colder air intake but have noticed that even with the head turned around i still get plenty of dust in the filter on dusty tracks.
