After seeing Ricks shower on the Jaurdi trip. Went out today and got a Hills
7lt pressure sprayer $24. Fitted a shower head I had in the shed. Tried it out
great Now I boil a kettle of water add cold water pump the pressure up and have
a warm shower.

Hi Brian:

If you scout around the tip and find a washing machine, the bowls in those also make good bbq's ... and they have the air holes already drilled in.
Seen them in operation in many places and they work well.

Yeah a mate of mine wanted to do this but if you want to carry it around in the car they make a mess so you need a bag to put them in and they are slightly bulky so they take up a fair bit of room.

Good idea if you don't have to move em lots.

A lot simpler than a heat exchanger. We use the original head for the desert trips - only needs 1.5 - 2 litres for a good shower. One billy of hot and 2 billies of cold usually does it for us. And any unused water is kept in the sprayer. The smaller sprayers are fine too - ours is 5 litre.
