My son has just asked me how good WTD air compressors are, as I have NFI who better to ask than the mob of highly intelligent personnel that frequent this forum..

Anybody have one?? used one??

For under $200.oo seems to be a reasonable unit, but....

BTW he is doing his own research, has borrowed one and is letting all his tyres down on his Mav as we speak......guess if he does not rock up this arvo some time I'll know that it did not work..lol

Thanks people

Michael

Oh, and a search turned up diddly.

Michael,
I have a WTD 12cfm 240v compressor and it works a treat. Had a drama with the elecy motor when I first used it, but was replaced under warranty. I use it for a nail gun, rattle gun, and most air tools. Also for spraying cars. Hope this helps

Thanks Matt,

Should have been more specific I guess, the WTD compressor that my son is looking at is purely for the 4WD, 12v only.

Has quite good specs too.

He let all his tyres down to 15psi and reckoned that the pump worked a treat, all up to 35psi in a minute or so each and it did not miss a beat.

I had never heard of the brand, hence my enquiry.

At least I now know that they are around and working well.

Thanks again.

Michael
