broome - trouble starting - has had a new fuel pump (hp) fitted and filters replaced. new starter solenoid also fitted. the l/r
shop has had it for a few weeks and is getting nowhere very quickly. now they have said it is the 'crank angle sensor'. are they having a lend or could this be the problem? starting trouble is same cold or hot. once running all is ok with plenty of go and not much fuel being consumed (normal). any ideas greatly appreciated. rgds

Hi Maverick.
Wouldn't it still be under warranty at that age?

Hi Maverick,
Does you mechanic have testbook? If so, the computer will indicate if there is a problem with the crank sensor.
Have the mechanics categorically gone over all the fuel lines for any air being sucked in? Is the fuel pump noisy, like whining? What is the fuel like? Is it just this particular
tank of fuel that you are using? TD5's hate crap fuel.
Cheers
