Help!

Has anyone got a spare wheel crank for a Toyota HJ47 lying around? The 3 foot long 1/2" steel type that lets you wind down the spare.

No wrecker in Perth has one and Toyota only have stock in a Japanese warehouse. There must be hundreds in back sheds... including the one that belongs to my old truck!

best regards,

David

Why don't you go to the wreckers or for that matter a dealer and get any old winder. The 1/2 rod arrangement is basically the same on Landcruiser from day one on the old 40# through to current. Only thing that really changes is the individual lenght od each piece but basically all the same. The Old 47 series one now supersedes to one of the later type ones now that are still available in Australia. If you have any problems let me know.

Unfortunately, none of the half-dozen 4WD wreckers I called have any winders for any models, but I have one possibility and will follow that up.

Thanks,
David.

FOUND ONE!

Thanks for your offer, but I managed to find one buried under an old landcruiser at the back of a wreckers. The only one in Perth apparently.

Cheers,

David.
