theyre both pretty good, stayed at both (one at
Adelaide end and the other at
Wilcannia end of town) and happy at both of them. The
Adelaide end one has wireless internet free to a good home

Thanks Bonz.
If I am there, and that can change at a moments notice, then the billy will be boiled.
Both parks are pretty good. Prior to monving here I stayed at Lakeview a couple of times and found it good. As someone else has said
Broken Hill CP on the
Adelaide road may get a bit of traffic noise, ask for a site away from the road and you should be Ok.
Lakeview is probably harder to find even though you drive right past it coming in from
Wilcannia. Take the first right and then the first right again and you will run into it.
I believe the third cp is opening up too. It is called Summerland and is across the road from the Greyhound track I think it is in Buck St. Can't comment as to quality.

Just stayed at the lakeview caravan
park..... Ok but was crowded. Clean, pool etc. Was nice to be on green lawn. The other one on the western side looked like it was just dirt. For something better, Go to
Copi Hollow Caravan
park at Mennindee about an hour outside of
Broken Hill. On the lakes edge.. excellent. Stayed there a couple of days. Great amenities.

western side one is bark chip's(soft fall)like kids play ground bark chips not dirt. It's quite good it keeps things clean , you don't carry anything inside the van.

A couple of years ago we stayed at a
park in
Silverton. Plenty of room, the facilities are basic but the showers had hot waterbut ther is not any power to the sites. There was no objection to us using our genie.

They have just put in a new shower block at
Silverton, & you can get power in some areas. Top spot!

One of them has (may be had) free internet access too as long as your puter is wifi equipped. Just ask Big Kidz Andrew which.

Yep - there's only the two and the Lakeview (north side of town) seemed a bit undulating for ours - the BH CP is on the main drag into the town from
Adelaide - just by the
cemetery - plenty of room - good amenities - all quite flat - the road can be a bit noisy at times but overall we like it, and have never had a crook stay there.

Was there bit over a week ago.Stayed at the lakeview cp. We didn't have a problem or see anysign of problems from the 'locals' although there were noitices up around the
park warning to keep all valuables out of site and lock everything up.
