Hi Truckster,

Thanks for that. Just checked the CFA site and fire burning on Ti Tree Road again near Yea. Just rang Dad who lives on the lane and was burnt out last year, he had no idea but is now activating his fire plan.

EO works again.

Cheers

Glenn

Yes I am back in the world that sucks!

I am sure all will be fine, Dad is more prepared than last year and at least this time he has had some warning. Thanks for the offer dude.

Heather hadn't seen that either. Don't talk like that please, Ash Wednesday went through that part of the district like a black carpet. Got 1/3 of us then.

Massive piles of logs on Geelong wharf caught on fire today. These logs are chipped and shipped off to Japan. I dunno how they would catch on fire though ?
Was quite warm here, peaked at 37.

G'day,

plenty of activity in nsw at present but thankfully only one major incident, campire triggered, in the tough terrain of Kosciuszko area.

we did a STARG to Gosford shire the other day because some bleep e for brains 41 yo (caught with road spikes after a 20km chase I believe) decided to drive around the night before and light about 30 fires. Unbelievable. We were able to use the cool conditions to nail them all before the warmer next day. AND they are on cat 4 water restrictions up there, we were instructed not to use hydrants to refill our tankers. dams are at about 16% capacity.

Yes, except they seem to be in charge of lighting more than they put out!
