For all us 4by fanatics who live for desert driving.
Given the current
water issues, we should soon be able to get to deserts after a very short drive from our capital city of choice.

Like a teenager looking first his first.in all the wrong
places. We are sourunded by
water and bathed in energy 10 hours a day.
I grew up on a farm based on english farming methods. Like a tree transplanted to the wrong climate it is failing because we do not addapt tp the environment.
My grandfather was fined for having too many trees on our farm. The csiro agriculture department said that the definition of improved land is when we chop down the trees. The more we chop down the more improvement
We suffer because of lack of one commodity, common sense.
Sorry to the farmers but I speak from experience. I would love to back on the land but not the way dad did it , too hard too many poisins and ploughing. Not needed. Bio dynamic / Organic farming is still small but will light the way.

Planted most of
my home property to trees.... now the reliable spring has dried up, so I need to cart in
water in the middle of Summer!
