You are already at a good spot for that - right here at OZ!!!!)):
Hope the new site does go good - really - I suppose the more info the better for all and the message gets around.

Seems like some like to
camp among the dog bleep and cat bleep Vinnie. I prefer to be out among the kangaroo, wallaby, wombat and emu doos than to be with the pets.
I agree you on here on EO being the best place. I won't click on the link above, have put my foot in it before

John couldn't agree more.
We tent it out amoungst the bush. Going to van parks and alike is as good as setting up in my own back yard.
I live on the coast and the further west I can get the more I like it.

Hi Guys,
I agree that ExplorOz is a fabulous
forum and overall site. That is why I've posted a link to it on Family
Camping Australia. The new MSN Family
Camping Austrailia
forum, Site Link ,was set up because a lot of the mainsteam forums tend to be monopolized by "
grey nomads" who have forgotten what life and
camping is all about and families are often marginalised. ExplorOz is great but is encouraged to be a question and answer
forum only which is why a general
forum like Family
Camping is needed.
Australia's
camping community is very diverse and taylored forums are an ideal way of allowing interaction between like-minded people and they don't necessarily complete with each other. ExplorOz will continue to be a great site,
well patronised and a valuable resource tool.

Ian,
I can see your point. The "one size fits all" mentality does'nt cut it anymore.

Take it easy on us "
grey nomads"
young one. Ben there done that but still love having kids around but not that keen on having hounds around the campsites.

Ian,
Great idea. I've joined up.
Already I have spotted something there that is of great interest to me; awnings over the bed ends of an Expanda.
Can't have too many forums.
ATB,
Jim.

And I've joined to, I think it will be a good
forum for getting info on
places to
camp especially as we have the dog with us most long trips.
Cheers Bruce.
