What vehicle. If you're after an All Terrain tyre then look at the BFG and Goodyears. I execpt you'll find that 265/75R16 are cheaper than the 265/70s and will do fine.

I have a set of Eldorado Tyres 265/75/16 on 7"steels and use them periodically on the Nissan as
well as my trailer. So far they off good wear and give a comfortable ride.
The Eldorados are very thin in the sidewall as I have picked up three very small stakes when doing Off Track driving.
They should be OK for normal day to day gravel road use. Run them at 28psi on gravel roads(depending on how rough the surface is)
Eldorados are made in the Cooper Factory

Many years ago, the Michelin Sahara were the bees knees. But more recently, michelin have not been popular offroad mainly because the sidewalls are pretty thin, so they get easily damaged.
Theres plenty of options out there. You will find that the 265/75 will be stronger, cheaper and more commonly available, so are preferable to 265/70. If you don't want a mud tyre, consider Goodyear Silent Armour and BFG ATKO.
