Evening everyone,
I should clock up 300000 kms in the Maverick this week and was thinking about doing a major service/overhaul. I was thinking about replacing belts, hoses, getting the value clearances adjusted and having the injectors looked at. It'll probably get a dyno tune to get the fuel mixture right again.
The week before last, the radiator and
water pump died, so a heavy duty 3 core radiator went in and a new
water pump too, so that's off the list.
Just wondering if you guys had any thoughts? It's a turbo diesel 1989 Ford Maverick.
Cheers,
Ben

Ben
I'm looking at upgrading the radiator on my 4.2 Patrol. Can you let me know who did your radiator (I'm in
Brisbane) and also an idea of cost. I notice when towing the van the temperature rises by around 15-20 degrees so hopefully a larger radiator will help to cool it down a bit.
Email me if you prefer
Thanks
Peter

Mine's done about every two years here.
Cheers Trevor.
