Well like many others on this website, I just want to highlight some good service and companies that back their products and honour warranties.
I bought a Piranha 12V fluoro light 2-3 years ago. Still under warranty. It has performed very
well but stopped working last week. Sent the full details to Piranha and they rang back today to say it was probably the fluoro tube – and said just take it to TJM (their agent here in SA) and it will be fixed etc. (Interestingly the light hasn’t had a lot of use and they said that might have contributed a bit to it failing).
You get accustomed to knock backs over the years, so I was just rapt. It seems to me that problems are a fact of life but the quality of a company / individual is how they respond to the problems. So thanks Piranha.
PS: I have no association with Piranha, and received no financial incentive to write this.

Similar light, not dissimilar situation. Grabbed last unit off shelf,(our light had failed, so wasn't choosey;almost knock-off time anyway).
Months later I found reason to mention that the cloth bag and battery adaptor were not originally present. Arb bloke posted 'em up, pronto. So what?
Arr, dunno. Again, SA. (OR maybe it's just arse: or country. Thanks fellas)
ps: to you poor buggers in fire areas sheeez my equal first nightmare.

Yes, I agree that they do have great customer service - and not just recently either.
I had an similar experience back in 1999 with a dual battery isolator. It was around 12 months out of warranty when it failed and a call to Piranha saw it being freighted back to them for inspection. To my surprise they replaced the item with a new kit within a week which I couldn't believe. The replacement is still going strong today.
I also have no association with them but they do restore some faith in what customer service is all about.
