I recently recommended to a family friend who lives in a seaside coastal town that they have a ERPS fitted to their new Nissan X-Trail which does a lot of beach driving. They had it professionally installed, but when I visit on the weekend they want me to check it out for them. My question is how do I tell if the system is actually fitted and installed properly? Is there a little black box under the bonnet, or is the system totally hidden?

Thanks in Advance

Hi snowy, look for the ERPS unit under the bonnet it will have a red led light lit in the middle of it if every thing is working fine, you may also see two of the electro-couplers in the engine bay the others may be a bit hard to find. I have 8 couplers but can only see 4 of them with out pulling interior panels off.
