I know every year would be a bit different, but I was thinking of going to Frasier Island a couple of days before Xmas for a few days.
Is it usually quiet at that time with most people maybe starting to arrive after Boxing Day?
Thanks
Paul

Paul,
From the begining of december, until after australia day it's far from quiet. More like bursting at the seams.
You'd be lucky to find a good
camping spot a few days before xmass. The further north you go the less crowded it should be, so try that, but expect to have people
camping close to you.
You should have a great time anyway.
Cheers
R.

Paul I was there last Christmas from the 15-23 Dec and had no dramas. It really depends where you go and book. We booked in on the
easter side and they only alow a number of bookings so you have to get in early. The only
places you have problems with is the major tourist spots
just my 2 cents

It will be busy!
BUT Fraser (the Island, as opposed to Frasier, the funny and very successful show about a Seattle Psychiatrist) is a big place.
Be prepared to meet oncoming traffic, and unless you are going past
Orchid Beach be prepared to share your '
campsite'. Alternatively you could book a site at somewhere like Frasers on Cathedral or Dilli Village and be guarranteed that they can only fit in the max number that they can handle.
Avoid Australia Day Weekend, unless you plan to help clean up the island with the hundreds of club members from all over who put in a huge effort every year.
Have fun
