G'day All

I have had a pair of Lightforce 240 Blitz lights for years and love their performance, I have one wound in to act as a spot light, and one wound out 3/4 of a turn to act as a spread beam. I also have a normal pair of crystal blue covers on the front of them. On the weekend one crow found out at 110km/h that the light covers are stronger than it, unfortunately it did break though. My question is this, it was the light I have set as a spread beam that broke it's cover, and I am contemplating buying either a wide beam cover or a combo cover, has anyone running these got any comments good, bad or otherwise?

Thanks in Advance

I had one spot beam and one combo on for a while.. now someone else has the pleasure. personally I think horses for course. as mine are XGT I cant adjust them but if you get both covers clear then you adjust as required using the wind in/out. once you put spread or combo covers on you defeat the purpose of having the adjusatble spotties.. I guess if you regulalry drive the desert highways then I guess you want long range vision hence spotties, but f you are more the windy highways then spread beams are better... I recon you should stick with plain covers and adjust yourspotties for your trip at the last stop before nightfall... FWIW..
