Morning Handy,
Easy as, use a hair dryer -yours or the ladies;))
Start on a corner and as it warms up just peel it off.
Clean the residue glue off with meths and maybe a razor blade for stubborn bits.
Just had the Troopy re-tinted and I took all old tint off with no problems at all.
Cheers
Michael

Hi Handy,
Just had some of
mine retinted under warranty and they use a strong amonia solution to remove the old tint...that is why they tell you not to use amonia based cleaners such as windexas it softens the tint. I would give some cloudy amonia a go.

My mates a window tinter, for the last 12 years, best way just get a corner of the tint and peel back then grab a $2
water spray bottle and fill with soapy
water, spray on give a good drenching then use a razor blade (one sided) so you dont slize your fingers off preferablt in one of those scraper holders and at an angle away you go and scrape all the old glue of will take about 10 mins per window, have helped him a few times stripping tint myself when he's been flat out, just keep the window wet while scraping no problems, back window if you have a rear demister is a totally differant story. DO NOT use a razor on rear window if you have a demister as you will totally stuff it. Regards Steve M

Another old tinters trick is to cut a peice of plastic the same size as the window and then spray some soapy
water on the tint and then place the plastic over the tint, the soapy
water will hold the plastic in place, the soapy
water will then soak through the tint and soften the glue. It takes about an hour or so to soak through, then use a single edge paint scraper to remove the glue.
If you have a rear window demister DON'T scrape it as you will ruin the demister, in this case use a white scourer pad as they will remove the glue but not scratch the glass, the green pads scratch glass.
good luck
cheers Geoff.
