Warning ..... Has Overlander been hacked?

Be careful if you go to the Overlander website, along with quite a few others I have been infected with a Trojan virus as soon as the site opens on to the forum index.
If you refresh the index page you will see that info is coming from, & going to a couple of different addresses.

So be careful!

This started yesterday and they have now shut down their server.

Trojan Virus????

That hole was infected by the d!ckhead virus ages ago.

A mob of very unfunny dills cracking corny one-liners ad nauseam.

And the standard of moderation is appalling. Unmitigated crap and racist jokes are allowed to remain.

I stopped going there ages ago, but popped in to add a post about Redarc a few weeks ago. I then read a few posts and haven't been back since.

yep i went there yesterday, stuffed my computer at work, tech guy worked till 1am and its still not working correctly, can not open excel or skype
bugger!!! how do i fix, have run spybot and virus checker but no avail!

run all your spycheckers in SAFE MODE. You may find also that the Virus/trojan has diabled any Spyware prog's you have, also antivirus progs .. This is quite regular now.

Failing that, just torch it and reimage.

I wasnt much of a wrap for the norton Anti virus on this work computer....................... Until i visited overlander and a big red box came up telling me it was doing a search and destroy on a downloader virus, no probs whatsoever
