Dual Battery

Do i need to install a battery regulatior if i install batterys in series. Will install an isolation switch between batteries. Will the inbuilt regulator in the alternator be able to hand this. This is for a 79 cruiser. Thanks Jason

In series??? I think you mean Parallel, as in series will give you 24volts and cause major damage and no, you dont need to install another regulator....Nav.

Hi Penny
If in doubt the best option would be the Redarc 'D' which monitors both batteries.
