Rick (S.A.)
Phil G, or others, here's a Q from Westprint's Friday at Five:
(I have pasted the Q)
" Two questions for your readers. When we were in NT recently, we were taken to
Goyders Pillar which looks a bit like
Chambers Pillar. This is located southeast of Tarlton Ranges. In Cecil Madigan's book Central Australia, he refers to Goyder Pillars which is shown in the very old Readers Digest Complete Atlas of Australia (1968) as being on the western escarpment of Tarlton Ranges, about 30km NE of the pillar we were shown.
1. What is the correct name?
2. Which is it, a pillar of stone or 2 scars on the escarpment?
Graham. "
Any comments?
Cheers
