Hi all, I'm trying to find out if any model Cruiser in Australia has the large intake lid fitted to it. I have a 5.7Litre Vortec Chev engine fitted and need more air flow. I have ordered the 1HD-FT lid from Toyota but now I'm thinking that it may not be the one I want. The only pics of the one I want are on US Cruisers with the 1HZ-FE engine but Aussie 1HZ-FE engines run the square topped lids. The link below is to a pic of a supercharged 1HZ-FE in the US but it has the lid I'm looking for!!
If anyone can enlighten me I would be most greatful.
Cheers Stuart.

Thanks Glenn but
mine was a 3F before the transplant and there's the problem. The outlet on the 3F lid is only about 2.5" and the turbo one is 3" also I want the high hat as shown in the link.
Thanks for your trouble though.
PS the turbo lid was only $67 from Toyota but $600 for the whole air cleaner assembly.

M8...the 1fzfe 4.5 in the 1995-1997 cruise had the largest lid....not square like flow meter erly motors, but round......i would simply cut yours up and fit 4 inch exhaust pipe to it....seen that done with body lift and 454 tpi
