I'm mathematically challenged anyway - have to use sports team to count eg
tennis doubles
menage a trois
golf foursome
one shy of a sixpack
beach volleyball teams
HongKong rugby with half the team missing (down in Wan-Chai probably)
Competition rowing largest boat passengers
etc

Tinnies - Fishing boats, then none
Tinnies - Beer, wouldn't know as I always drink my homebrew and you can't get that in to tinnies.
May I suggest you buy a carton and try it out.
Not you Jimbo, the guy who asked the question.
Feeling cheeky tonight. (If cheeky will let me)

Yeah I thought about my 4m Savage tinnie but let's get serious - the boat might make it in a squeeze but big doubts about the two outboards.
Don't think a carton would fit either - although I have some small ones here left over from the last shift. Will give it a go though.
I felt cheeky last night but got slapped.
cheers

Almost a carton if you empty the cans straight into the cooler/warmer then drink from there.

Now there's a sensible answer - the ultimate liquid/volume/displacement model. The downside is you would have to drink it pretty quickly. Getting the surplus back into cans would be tricky.

A good beer should never be rushed (
well not after the first 3-4 throat coolers)
Plus that much sugar lying around in the open would attract half the entomology
in Australia !

*Thinks back to drinking days long ago*
It's not how many tinnies you can fit in that's important.
It's how many will come OUT of one :-)

Ok, looks like the consensus is never enough, so I'll need to forget about the 8Lt and get the largest cooler that will fit in the back of the wagon - want to stack a few non-refreshment articles in there as
well, dull stuff like marg (she's fairly small) milk, chops for the barbie etc.
cheers all,

Dont know about the 8lt tinnie capacity but would sugest that being a cooler/warmer its maximum cooling would only be 20deg lower tham ambient ,not much use on a 30+c day , now if you realy want cold beer in a small unit ,the Engle 15lt is the go , dont however believe the spec sheet that states 21x 375ml cans ,best you can fit is 18 cans with or without the basket ,will use an average of 45amps per 24 hrs.

Or alternately, pick up a Waeco 18 litre and will achieve similar results.
Picked
mine up from the fridge-
shop for the princely sum of $380. It has a slightly warped case but the volume of drinks that have gone through it is frightening. Like the last 2 weeks saw it bring down to an icely 2 degrees over 180 cans. It comfortably holds 18 cans and by cycling replacements in in the morning and extracting in the afternoon/evening it worked a treat.
I made a little battery box which has a 33 amp hour gel battery and solar reg and a 33 Watt solar panel. This kept it going the whole time I was away even though the ambient temps where the fridge was got up to around the 32 degree mark.
However brand is not important, getting refrigerative over the thermo electric is. Alternately stick with ice and esky.
Cheers
Peter
