Folks - myself and a fellow bush traveller are interested in any magazine issues you may be able to ID on reviews of the current 100 series (IFS) LC (04 auto TD GXL is the target) - been perusing magazines here and there but haven't spotted any issue containing the reviews we need - have emailed one or two publishers - rest assured we know how circumspect we need to be about reviews overall, but "info is info, for the considering" !

If you are only considering one model of vehicle (specifically 100 series IFS) why do you need the magazine articles??? You've already
well and truely made up your mind, and no amount of "reading between the lines" of what has been said elsewhere (such as "minor" things like the perennially weak front diff, and
well known front wishbones cracking, along with the wheelstud woes) is going to make any difference to your decision.
If you want to buy one with your eyes
well and truely closed to these longevity issues that have been circulating over the last couple of years, go ahead, but I would be looking at a variety of vehicles, reviewing all the strength and weaknesses of them and then making a decision. IFS L/C would not be high on my list....

You could always look at the reviews on Drive.com, carpoint.com, etc.....

Thanks for the tips on the car web sites Gary - will check them out - but you presume far too much otherwise - I collect info from a variety of sources and try to evaluate the usefulness as I go - of the Toyo 100 group, that is the only one that suits my needs (unstated in the post) - but it may not be the vehicle I trade up to.

Wheelstud woes? That may be news to most here. I have heard lots about
wheels coming off Patrols but not so LC's.
A Arm cracking has a relatively simple and cheap fix.
