I saw this website at the bottom of post 39692 and had a look.

It is a wonderful pictorial account of a German family who toured Australia and New Zealand in their Bremach truck

That was so enjoyable. What a great trip that family had. Beautiful photos that brought back so many memories of some of my earlier trips. Now I think I'll have to go back again and relive them. Thank you Willem for bringing that website to the fore. Sometimes we miss things and how sad it would have been to have missed this. Well done little German family...great effort.

Thanks for the link to that great site, Willem.

I immediately recognised the vehicle as one that my wife & I saw in Tassie at the Cataract Gorge, Launceston on Feb 19, 2005. Confirmed it by checking a few photos we took of it, one of which shows me praying that one day I might own such a beautifully built rig! That thing sure has a chassis.

Anyway, I'd post the photo if I knew how, but I don't, so I won't!

Cheers, Rod.

thanks for that, now that's a great trip. My husband would so love one of those vehicles. I'll have to make a point of not showing him that site.
cheers, Andrea
