Thinking about getting my son into an asia rocsta I found for sale for his 1st car. they seem to go OK but how are they for spares and who distributes them and are there any issues with them or things to consider.
Thanx in advance

Do your son a favour - don't.
The purchase of a car for another person needs to be discussed - even if it is your son. I am sure your son will have a different view to you about what he wants for his first car.
Never a fun car, never got good reviews but were cheap.

Agree, have a discussion with him about it and put some options out on the table, in the end you may both may need to compromise a bit so both are happy.
At the end of the day it’s your money thou so you are going to have the final say.

If you are interested in a shorty 4wd for your son, buy anything other than the Rocsta or a Jeep.
Available options in shortys are Nissan, Pajero, Jackaroo all of which will be 1000% nicer to drive, and will have spare parts available for a long time. Even a Korando would be preferable to a Rocsta.

No way would I buy a leaf sprung swb 4by as a first vehicle. It will handle like a dog, bump steer allover the road.Far to dangerous to put a
young driver in. Pajero or jackeroo would be much safer and more comfy. Think back to when you were
young, its only by the grace of god that I survived my teen years.
Cheers Pete
