My inlaws are wondering if anyone out there has been able to change the distance measurement from mies to kilometers? This unit seems to have been purchased through an auto/audio outlet but does not come with a manual. I have looked at the manual online but was unable to locate the required menu.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

PS: Just bought myself the etrex yellow for a bit of navigational fun (geocaching/confluence points). :)

There is no reason why it can't be changed, I have a Quest and if Garmins all seem to work similar look for a button that enters the MENU , just checked
mine and I change it by going Menu/ Settings/units . and you download the manual from GME Garmin website for free .
