Hi Everyone,
I am thinking of installing a Setec power supply in a 85 swan. A friend of
mine has a 2005 Jayco with a Setec supply and auxillary battery, looks like a much more efficient way of powering the van.
Some questions:
1. Can you get the power supply as a spare part? Are they expensive?
2. Anyone else done a conversion on an older van/camper trailer? Worth the money?
Cheers,
Craig..

I was down at Jayco in Dandenong last week, they were selling them for $320. Easy to install.
I have the old Amreican Convertor in
mine, I bought it just before they changed over. I also use a 3.5 Amp Charge and maintain charger that I have hard wired in.

Hi Jay,
We also do a 30 amp unit which is also a 3 stage smart charger. Just in case you decide to later on fit a few batteries.
Regards Derek.
