hi, as you might know a few days ago i asked what works for removing old stickers from the side of a van, well i got quite a few different answers so i thought i would try out different ones and report back on the findings.
OOMPH glue remover- good for old dried out glue residue not (so much the sticker type) and marks
Orange power- didn't do any thing
then the bloke in Woolies said to try lemon essence at 60cents a bottle and that worked wonders just dab on leave for a minute and wipe off.
hope my findings help you out, as for me the lemon ess. get the big tick.
bye and thanks again for the ideas.

For getting price labels and some adhesives off plastics like cd cases and many other surfaces without marking you can't go past Mortein surface spray.

Aerogard removes graffiti (if fairly fresh) and permanant marker graffiti at any time not to mention other stuff that councils deal with. After using it to remove graffiti I will NEVER use it on my skin again. It usually melts stickers as well.

I must admit the thought of using the heat gun was a bit worrying and my hair drier is no longer living after it was used to dry out the car's carpets when they got wet. but it is really quite unbelievable how quick and easy the lemon essence was.
thanks again gone bush
