Can anyone recommend a good place to get my 94 2.8l Hilux (no turbo) serviced in
Melbourne?
Preferably around the Brunswick,
Richmond, Footscray areas.
My fuel economy is bleep house 12.8l/100km (thats less than 19mpg) and she is blowing a bit of black smoke.
It's probably just the injectors, but i want to get the best economy I can out of her.
Thanks for any help.
Cheers
Nick

Hi there Nick, sorry cant help in regards to a mechanic in your area but can tell you I get approx 10L per 100klm virtually under all conditions. Last trip towing the camper was I think for memory about 12L per 100klm but that was foot virtually flat to the board at 100/110, on a run with out trailer best I ever got was 9L per 100klms. Regards Steve M
